The service

BuySell lets people in Singapore list secondhand goods and message each other to arrange a meetup. BuySell does not take payment, hold items, or arrange delivery. Meeting up and paying are between you and the other person.

Your account

You need an account to list or message. You must be 18 or older. The display name, username, bio, photo, and neighborhood you give should be ones you are willing to show other people. Business details stay hidden when you hide them. You agree to these terms and the privacy policy when you sign up.

You can log in with the username. Keep your password to yourself. A reset code sent to your email is the only way to set a new password.

What you can post

Post only listings and messages you have the right to post. You may bring in listings from another site only when they are yours.

Do not post illegal goods, weapons, drugs, stolen items, adult sexual content, hate, harassment, scams, or another person's private information. Do not pretend to be someone else. We refuse some of that text automatically, and we remove the rest when we see it.

Reports and blocks

From a listing, a seller page, or a chat you can report a listing or a person, and you can block a person. Blocking hides their listings and chats from you, and stops new messages between you. We read reports and remove content or accounts that break these terms. Write to the contact email if a report needs a faster look.

Ending an account

You can delete your account from Profile. We can suspend an account or remove a listing that breaks these terms, including after a report.
